you dont think which means your not sure. which means you dont know wtf your talking about. floyd mayweather was with top rank and the fight was signed with judah already with HBO noway anyone in the world thought boldimeir would beat judah. and sicne the fight was set in stone floyd still had to sell the fight as credible and go on to still fight and beat boldimeir after he bought out his contract. when your trying to dispute something go with the facts dont use I think because thats not credible kid

If you want to criticize Pac, he gives good reason with the catchweight thing presently. The Raheem thing is bollocks though. Nobody gave a damn that he beat Morales and there was 0 demand for Pac to challenge him.

        So again,

why the sudden change in attitude about "boxing is a business"?
what guys? cotto and margirito? those the only 2 names and for a fact floyd would fought them but arum wouldnt give him the money he felt he deserved. so he would go on and make even more money than he asked arum for. and arum didnt want cotto nowhere near floyd period. it wasnt until floyd bought his contract out and was chasing oscar did arum try to really force the issue with margirito. because months before that floyd was the best fighter he seen(yeah just like he says with manny) up until floyd left then he became a coward and all that nonsense. yall can keep going ahead and believing what yall want to believe but that dont change facts

I have two thing to say about this.

          -The fight was already made

-If Raheem wanted a shot, he shouldn't have lost his next fight to Freitas and proceed to camp out in my hometown (Tulsa) fighting bums. He was back fighting a bum while I was at the casino a few months ago and I didn't even bother to watch.

Guy got lucky, Morales was shot.

That's all the needs to be said.

i have no problem with him fighting morales in the rematch. because the first fight was good as hell and who didnt want to see a rematch? my problem is the world knew morales could barely make 135 was comming off a lose everytime he fought manny and was winding down. so it showed the level of competition that manny and arum were chasing. but his fans ont see that. whatever manny does is gold. they cant just say yeah manny fights hard put on good matches they make it seem like he killed everyone in their prime and fought the best. which is bull****. he fought good names and piggybacked on the end of their careers.

Of manny last 5 years of manny 12 opponents how manny fought again after manny and were as successful? and how many of them were comming off a lose or a big defeat before or after they fought manny? majority of them were done and even freddy roach talks about it. like i dont get it.

All Raheem did was throw a punch and run in the fight agaisnt Morales. Raheem even hurt Morales but didn't go after him. Yes Raheem won the fight but Morales did not get a beat down.

As far as the rematch, even and before the Raheem fight, there was a demand for it. Most of you weren't even complaining about the rematch after Morales lost to Raheem.

Raheem fight was at lightweight and Pac just moved up that year to jr. lightweight.

Thats why I can't and won't give PACROID any credit for his last 6 victories. This is what great matchmaking can do for your career. ARUM and Roach are masters at this. I am a lifetime boxing fan and I am not fooled this easy.

*******S are new to this boxing thing so they don't know any better. That's why they come here a start ****** threads and post ignorant comments.

This Raheem vs Manny is a joke.

Just go back and you would know what the truth is.

                    - Manny had a 1-1 record at 130 before he rematched Morales .... YET you guys wanted him to fight at 135 against Raheem?

                    - Morales lost at 135 against a type of fighter that he wasn't used to fighting.

                    - For the haters: So you mean to say, Manny was supposed to face Raheem because he beat Morales BUT you also said that Morales was shot, right? So then what accomplishments does Raheem really have if you discredit this win due to Morales being shot? You can't have it both ways!!!

                    - Manny fought at 130 for several more years.

                    - Manny had lost the 1st fight against the great Morales. It was an excellent fight that people still talk about THEREFORE the 2nd fight was a NO BRAINER!!! EVERYONE wanted to see a rematch.

                    - Who would be crazy enough to miss an opportunity to revenge their loss against the great and exciting Morales and instead fight a no-name, no money, no excitement Raheem?

                    - When Manny fought Morales the 2nd time, Morales was winning the fight at about the 6th round and the HBO commentators were saying Manny is too small and Morales is too big for Manny.

                    - Years later, Manny faced a title holder at 135 the first time he moved up while Raheem lost another fight.

                    - When Manny did get to 135, he faced someone else that Morales had lost to at 135 and who actually had a title.

                    - For the sake of argument, imagine Manny facing and beating Raheem and not facing Morales and Morales continued and did well? Does Marquez ring a bell? Manny haters are calling Manny a coward against a guy who did well but never beat Manny. Imagine what they would say about Manny not wanting to revenge Morales? Coward and ducking wouldn't even come close to what the Manny haters would use to describe Manny.
