Amir has all the physical tools needed to use the Mayweather slick Black American style. The main thing that would have to change is his mentality. He thinks too much about being exciting and focuses on the PUNCHER part of BOXER-puncher.

Roger doesn't just train Floyd. He also has Omar Henry and Jesse Vargas.

I think Amir will stop training with roach. Which trainer will be his new one? We don't know.

roach is cool. but he doesnt know defense. he never was a defensive fighter himself and you can see that in his fighters' styles. he magnifies their offense but their defense rarely ever improves. that'd be my only knock on him.

Yeah. I wouldnt want a multiple-time trainer of the year either. For what? All Khan's gonna do is develop both a mean jab and sick left hook (like he caught Maidana), and probably win some more championships in multiple divisions.

Yep. Amir's pretty dumb to be training with the guys who are gonna help him reach his potential.

              Some of you are morons.

                Karma for this.

Also, I dont think he would have understood a word of the Mayweathers instruction. I hardly understand a word either of them says.

There was a gameplan Saturday night that Roach gave Amir.

Khan dumped it to prove his chin in the fire. From the 6th to the tenth he fought on instinct alone.

However, Khan cannot start learning how to slip and slide, duck and weave all of a sudden under the tutelage of Mayweather , he'd get KO'd! Look at Ricky Hatton, he should just learn to keep his hands up and have a tighter guard, learn to avoid uppercuts, and how to move around the ring better. I think Ariza is a fantastic conditioning coach, Khan used to have a chin made of wine glass, now it's pretty sturdy. Look at Pacquiao, he was getting KO'd by much smaller men, now he can take Cotto and Margarito's best. I cannot agree with that.
hatton dint use anything mayweather taught hiim. he reverted back the moment pac hit him haha
