Khan should have went with Roger or Sr, instead of Roach?

Asked about Amir Khan Mayweather pretended not to know him.
Well actually Roger is at the gym everyday other than sundays.

      How do I know?

      I trained there.

The total physical reform he's gotten with Roach and Ariza has been integral to his success. I'm not sure that Roger/Snr. could have helped him so much in that area.

I just don't think Khan will ever be a really good thinker or defensive boxer though, rehardless of his trainer, it's just not in him.

It would have been a good choice as well.

Khan went to the Mayweathers if I remember correctly shortly after he dumped his former trainer.

            Khan walked afterwards.

Khan prolly realized he knows more about boxing than the Mayweathers so he didnt go to them. And went to someone who truly know boxing. Roach.

Khan became a champion once again and has a chance to unify the division. End of story.

That is why bro... Only a moron will believe the Mayweathers can improve Khan.

              Coolio.

Honestly, could you imagine Khan living in Vegas for a large portion of the year and fighting out of that gym? Do you think he'd be made comfortable? Would they look out for him? Would he get quality sparring? I really don't get that impression from Roger or Floyd Sr they'd go out of their way.

At Wildcard they chucked him in with Pac and he didn't get KTFO. From that point on he was on top of the world.

From the outside looking in. It would seem like a mistake to join the Mayweather's who seem to primarily squabbling amongst themselves to take credit for all Floyd's successes. Amir would have been a footnote. And, if he got KO'd he'd have been off the page all together.

Just look at what happened to Hatton.

Roger Sr like his son is just all mouth and no brains.

Khan will continue to rise under Roach.
Surely you mean Floyd Sr? Roger never trained Hatton and Floyd Jr is Roger's nephew not son.

oscar's style was better before floyd sr. imo.

the vargas fight would have been much easier without using mayweather's style and tactics.

Unless Khan wants to order Taco Bell I think he is fine with Roach.

I think he made the right choice due to having Ariza handle his strength and conditioning. The footwork drills have also done wonders for Amir as well as the amount of competition at the wildcard gym.
