WTF are you talking about, Diaz complained about the reebok gloves so they weighed them which which were 9.5, so diaz made him switch to the everlast gloves. Maidana was also wearing those everlast 8oz, forgot exactly what they are called, but they are supposed to be even more of a punchers glove than the reyes gloves.

        Get your facts right

The fact that khan could have contracted 10 oz gloves in nevada anyway but chose to for the 8's shows it was probably an honest mistake, glove sizes can be hard to tell to the naked eye as they are all designed and padded differently. I boxed for 10 years when i was a kid, and I sometimes still can't tell straight away.

The Nevada rules are that if you fight at 140 you must wear 10 oz gloves. But Maidana requested 8 oz gloves and Amir agreed.
I really did hear talk of 10oz gloves but hey if it was true or not had no weight on the outcome of that fight imo..

the difference between 8 and 10 oz may be hard to see to the naked eye, but when wearing them, the difference is night and day. i dunno how u couldnt tell.

Talk doesn't equal fact. That's the problem with this website. Posters prefer to listen to any idiot with an internet connection rather than read the actual news and opinions from reliable sources.

Both fighters agreed to 8oz gloves even though 10oz is the norm according to Nevada State rules.
