    - Joan Guzman (he clearly can't make 140lbs)

    - Maidana rematch at Welterweight
    - Rematch with Bradley/Alexander winner at Welterweight.
    - Victor Ortiz at Welterweight.

Plenty of fights at Welterweight. There's more fights at WW than at JWW:

    - Timothy Bradley
    - Rematch with Maidana
    - Devon Alexander
    - Zab Judah vs. Kaizer Mabuza winner.
    - Victor Ortiz
    - Lamont Peterson.

After Khan beats the Bradley/Alexander winner, he'd be lineal champ and would have cleared out the division's top fighters - Kotelnik, Malignaggi, Maidana, maybe Judah too (if they fight in April), and the Bradley-Alexander winner.

Khan won't be able to make 140lbs for too much longer anyway.
    What makes you think that?

He has a very big frame.

He's probably going to fight in April, and then take on Bradley-Alexander winner in July if all goes to plan.

After that is Ramadan, meaning he won't be back in the ring until December 2011.

******s tend to put on a lot of weight during Ramadan, look at the pictures of Khan when the Maidana bout was first announced - quite chubby. This means that Khan would have to shed even more pounds next year prior to his December bout if he was to fight at 140. He'd be much more comfortable at 140.

Khan would be a beast at 147. That's 7lbs more of muscle = more power, better weight/muscle distribution around his body, and better punch resistance.

I think he has enough time too clean up the division before making weight starts becoming detrimental to his performance, and i hope he does so

But i think thats what you were getting at anyway

much respect to khan. he proved and can face a puncher and doesnt have a glass chin. and he wants to clear out his division and move up for better opposition. the kid is a start in the making. unlike some people who just want a big payday like bradley

thats great way to go kid just like a true champ suppose to do it. fight the best and handle anyone in your division that needs to be handled period. some may not like amir and some even hate him but the man is not backing down from anyone
