The object is to either outscore your opponent by landing scoring punches, round by round or......to stop your opponent either by KO or injury caused by punches.

Vitali was hit and cut badly, therefore it is exactly the same as another TKO. The cut was not caused by a clash of heads or any sort of foul but by a well delivered punch.

Exactly, the fight was 12 rounds long therefore it is redundant if Vit was ahead or not, he was stopped.
