And of course i take things like that into considering because it makes perfectly logical sense. If hopkins only picks opponents he KNOWS he can beat, and avoids tougher fights, then it SHOULD and DOES worry me that he has ZERO issues with fighting Pascal.

And You analysis of the fight is horrible IMO dude. Hopkins hasnt fought like that since like the Trinidad fight 10 years ago... And EVERY SINGLE time Hopkins loses it is to a fighter similar to Pascal. Aka, a guy with very quick hands, who throws combinations in bursts, and wins fights with activity... aka Joe Calzaghe, aka Jermain Taylor (doesnt usually but he beat Hopkins by simply doing more), and aka Roy Jones Jr....

And Pascal is gonna blow his load and tire?! the guy fought in a WAR against Froch and was still fighting HARD in the 12th. The pace of this fight won't even compare to that one.

When you learn how to analyze a fight, then maybe ill listen to your opinion before i place a bet...

EDIT: And HOPKINS doesn't have the accuracy to Counter?!?!?!?! dude basically knocked out Trinidad with a counter, knocked Tarver off his feet with a counter, knocked Calzaghe down with a counter, rocked Jermian Taylor with a counter...
If it weren't for garbage judges you would be broke.

Seriously, your analysis is usually terrible and you sound like a rookie even when your prediction sometimes turns out to be right.

    Step your game up.

I think more correctly, bookmaker.com has him at -220

I like that bet at those odds a lot.

Hopkins' biggest wins in recent years have been against SLOW fighters that PLOD forward and allow hopkins to set his feet and then move constantly, keeping his opponent constantly off balance. Guys like Tarver and Pavlik and Wright. Guys that struggle with fighters who have quick feet.

Hopkins' only losses in his career were against FAST, ATHLETIC, and (usually) BLACK fighters. i.e., the two fights against Taylor and the loss Jones Jr. like 20 years ago. Calzaghe being the only exception to the black part, but more then applies.

Pascal is probably a bit better then Jermaine Taylor, although probably not by much.

At the same time though, Hopkins has aged 5 years since those fights. He is 45 years old...

I just find it very hard to see Hopkins, at this age and knowing his history against fighters like Pascal who fight in spurts and have fast hands, pulling this one out.

I LOOOOOOOVE Pascal at -220. I think it hits for sure.

Do I think Hopkins COULD win? I mean, he is one of the smartest fighters ever and his trainer Nazzim is probably the best strategist in the bizz sooo... yea. But Its hard to see for me

-220 on someone who has such a good chance to lose as Pascal does are terrible odds. Seriously, if Pascal wins it'll be by squeezing out a close decision. Hopkins will be on his ass right after he wastes his burst and wants to recover. He won't land many clean punches or outwork Hopkins either.
Seriously though, my analysis of the fight is terrible?
