Cotto ducks Vanes shouldnt be in the same sentence. Top Rank obviously want a tune up fight for Cotto before a Margs,Pac or Martinez fight. Vanes might be a little too good to be considered a tune up.

It's funny how when cotto was given the option of vanes or cintron a couple months ago they came out and said that were looking for big fights, but now since bums such as Alvarez and wolak are being mentioned they are all of a sudden interested... So it's obvious that cotto wants no piece of vanes or anyone that stands a chance of beating him. You're telling me a fight with a bum like wolak is bigger than a fight vs vanes or cintron... It's obvious cotto is ducking vanes, of the bunch mentioned vanes is the only one that stands a good chance of beating him!!!

This fight is labeled as a tune up.cotto has been inactive going on for 7mths.its almost the same set up when he fought gomez and then margarito.


Margarito after being demolished by mosley took some months off and fought garcia as a tune up then fought pacquiao.
