Cotto ducks Vanes shouldnt be in the same sentence. Top Rank obviously want a tune up fight for Cotto before a Margs,Pac or Martinez fight. Vanes might be a little too good to be considered a tune up.

Is it just me or is a March fight, i.e. just a few months, followed by a bigger fight just 3 months later in June a little overly ambitious and too good to be true?

There's talk of Judah for Khan in Feb/March and Bradley in June too.

A part of me just think it's talk and won't come off.

Cotto can't be getting paid the same amount of money to fight one of those bums that he would've gotten paid had he just took the Martinez fight before he fights Margarito again.

This is gonna make it two tune up fights in a row for this joker, and I'm sorry but my patience with Jotto is wearing thin. Hopefully Margarito will beat him down again. One beating from Sergio and then another one from Margarito might have been rough. But at least he would've gotten paid better. But after Margarito punks him, nobody will care about a Martinez-Cotto fight.

Cotto vs Wolak is the most doable fight and would be the most exciting. Cotto vs Vanes would be kind of boring because Vanes will just try to box and steal rounds. Cotto vs Wolak would be all action.
