I like Adamek, I think he's proved he can hang with the B Class heavies (Arreola, Golota etc), so no need to fight any more C class ones (Maddalone).

Is he ready to beat a Klitschko? No I haven't seen anything to suggest he could. But who else is out there that will get him a payday?

Could he beat Haye? Possibly. It was certainly a fight I wanted to see at CW.

How about Chisora or Povetkin? Both are skilled up and comers...

I have to disagree. Its not like Greenburg decides what fights get fixed where. He makes deals and puts them on the table.

The K's were happy to move to Germany.

Adamek makes more money in the East Coast than he would in Poland.

Its the same deal with Red Dawn, Rocky IV, Superman IV etc. They are totally biased against fighters that come from former Warsaw act countries.

I'd like to see Adamek finally receive a deserved big payday by fighting Wladimir.

He's been discriminated against by HBO because he's a good white fighter. He was supposed to lose against Arreola (the crooked referee Jack Reiss wouldn't let him put his mouthguard back in and remember somehow Adamek's shoe soles got cut) but he surprised Ross Greenburg and prevailed.

Now Greenburg is unlikely to have him on HBO again.

Between "Real Sports", 24/7, On the Record with Bob Costas (no longer airs), and all the great sports documentaries on HBO, I think he does an excellent job overall.

They should put someone else in charge of Boxing, though.
