I don't know much about montiel except that he outclassed and destroyed hasegawa, who was an elite fighter.. so all I know is this is gonna be a good ass fight, and may the best man win.

Actually, Montiel did not outclass Hasegawa. He was losing the first three rounds until he connected those lefts. This only proves how explosive Montiel can be. He was a really strong superflyweight but I see him a lot stronger on bantam. I like Montiel for this fight, his body shots are going to make a big difference.

Are you Puerto Rican or Pinoy? For some reason you sometimes seem to be one or the other and I was just curious. I also always confuse you with another poster "gibo".

Anyways, Montiel is severely underrated, he is my favorite boxer of all time along with Barrera. He will once again surprise everyone when he KTFO Donaire and people will still show no respect for this great champion

I know it doesn't really matter what you are when liking a certain boxing but this question had nothing to do with Montiel, it's something I have always wondered and i just happened to ask you in this thread...just curious.

And I don't understand why people don't give Montiel his due respect, have you seen his older fights? The guy was a beast...the complete package IMHO. He still is but back then he looked slick were as now he brawls a little bit more which I hope he can avoid when fighting Donaire. IMO he should revert back to his old counter-punching/defensive ways and attack with full force when he sees an opening from Donaire.
