    Pacquiao vs Margarito
    Martinez vs Williams 2
    Marquez vs Katsidis
    Froch vs Abraham
    Soto vs Antillion
    Ward vs Bika

Is it me or the boxing gods has been good to us? The last month and the first week of december is all about memorable and great fights. These fights were enough to beat mma damn! I think boxing is on the rise again while MMA is on or will be on a steady decline because of these fights! Ifonly the casual fans would now appreciate boxing more than the brokeback grappling on the mat mma crap!

Damn right it has. I can't believe I paid for UFC 124 last night 55$ for that jab fest when I could of paid free99 to watch Khan and Maidana on HBO.

Been saying this for a while the competition from MMA is slowly pushing boxing back into its golden years, all thats holding it back is the heavyweight division and the numerous soup titles, boxing would be back at its 100% finest if golden boys offer of 1 belt per weight class in put into play that would cure every problem including even the heavyweight division

I'll tell you this: Last night after the Khan-Maidana fight, I immediately turned on the UFC event only to see two guys holding each other on the floor. The difference in skill was so apparent. In the MMA fight, the fighter had the other fighter on the floor and was throwing "hammer-fist." It was sloppy. Boxing is the sweet science. It's hit and don't get hit while MMA is hold and hit. After that fight was the main event and it was a one sided fight. The fighter with the Ronald McDonald hair couldn't defend against a straight jab and didn't know how to throw a punch and he was the #1 contender. I know in UFC they give fight of the night bonuses. They should mail that check to Khan and Maidana cause that was the best fight of the night.

mma and ufc will always be more mainstream than boxing. When is the last time you putos have seen boxing toy figures in stores or boxing reality shows outside of the contendor. Mma/ufc is still on the rise especially now with a great mexican champ!
