This. I watched ufc and the khan fight, and for the hype GSP/Koschcheck had, it was lackluster. Sure, boxing got credit for being the winning factor, and we all know GSP was nuthugging Roach when he came by the show, but what a zzz fight none the less.
This! I died laughing! your last two sentances I agree with.I'll tell you this: Last night after the Khan-Maidana fight, I immediately turned on the UFC event only to see two guys holding each other on the floor. The difference in skill was so apparent. In the MMA fight, the fighter had the other fighter on the floor and was throwing "hammer-fist." It was sloppy. Boxing is the sweet science. It's hit and don't get hit while MMA is hold and hit. After that fight was the main event and it was a one sided fight. The fighter with the Ronald McDonald hair couldn't defend against a straight jab and didn't know how to throw a punch and he was the #1 contender. I know in UFC they give fight of the night bonuses. They should mail that check to Khan and Maidana cause that was the best fight of the night.
The rest is epic though!
This! somone got owned!
This! no way goldenboy23 would let you skate with this lol.
I am a fan of both, but boxing is my passion and is first always. I respect MMA for what it is, and do not see it going anywhere. Although in my wildest most forbidden dreams I do wish arum to be right and wish it would vanish so we got ALL the fans from it, but that won't happen.
My roommates are all ufc fans so we argue all the time about it.
Boxing contributes to the sport but MMA strikers will never come within light years of a true pro boxer because a boxer dedicates himself to the art of punching and manuevering for it, whereas a MMA fighter can only incorporate so much into his already well rounded but full cup of technique. Where MMA fails me is that in the ufc anyway fighters become so well yet similarly rounded that it is monotonous. Ufc was awesome in the first few years where it was style against style. Now everyone is just "mma fighter" pretty much.
So I will stick to boxing for the most part. It is so funny to hear joe rogan be forced to praise boxing when he is so ground game biased, **** ufc lol.
I am a fan, but i critique it, it has lost most of its flavor.
Boxing > MMA if I could only choose one.
P.S. goldenboy your avatar is sexy and you speak with some common sense, green K for you.Comment

UFC 124 had a great card and a great main event.......
KOS had a broken orbital bone.....And still fought..... his face looked like Margorito's and your saying that fight was boring?
MMA combines all MA's techniques and skills and you saw a guy just dominate another guy in every aspect but yet you'll nut hug on Pacman or PBF when they domante somebody? And GSP was using Boxing to win the fight and your talking bad aobut it being "a jab fest and sticking and moving"?

If you don't appreciate all the disciplines of MMA and the sport itself and the Sweet Science it is then just stop watchin it and watch ****ing Boxing all the time.....Comment
