khan has a firm grasp on #2 in the division. but bradley is clearly still the man. hes never looked as bad as khan didn in this fight. 140 is no joke tho. even fringe contenders like l. peterson and ortiz have styles that would beat the top fighters. i would like to see khan vs. ortiz personally.

I still think Khan is number 3 in the 140 LB division.

I think Alexander's dominance of Urange(a similar fighter to Maidana) was more impressive and a better showing then Khan tonight. But damn, tonight was a great night for boxing fans.

Ref saved Khan from an early night multiple times. Plus deducted a point for a phantom elbow to khan. But I was surprised by khans ability to get out of tough spots and preserve his chin when it looked like maidana wanted blood. Although Roach better teach him to block that uppercut before he fights Alexander. Ask Urango Alexander's uppercut is no joke.

Good job by Khan but he was lucky that Maidana was on empty when he landed that beautiful right hand of his.

Overall I'd give Khan a B- on his performance tonight. He started off great and looked real impressive but went away from those body shots that hurt Maidana in the first. Khan looked tired towards the 2nd half of the fight and ran a little too much for my liking. And I'm not talking "hit and get hit" running, I mean literally running away, especially in the last 3 rounds. Khan did show heart but so did Maidana. I can't wait to see both of these guys fight in the future.

Khan only ran away when he was hurt. It's what you're supposed to do when you're hurt, have a poor chin, and facing a devastating puncher. Otherwise he might as well have hanged his chin out in the open and let Maidana take a free shot.

Khan did nothing but run like a scared child the last 3 rounds, and Cortez? Well he obviously is under golden boy's payroll. Great fight though, I want Marquez vs Khan next but I bet Kgan will be too scared to fight an Aztec warrior

At 37 years of age he isn't gonna pressure Khan anything like what Maidana did.. Maidana forced Khan to make mistakes which eventually resulted in him getting stunned and hurt

I didn't see Khan 'badly hurt' at all, i did see the argie in agony on the floor, from a devastating bodyshot though.
