This was a career defining fight for Khan. He fought the most dangerous guy he could of faced, took his best shots, and did enough to hold onto his title. He could have made the fight a lot easier if he stuck to his own game and didn't get drawn into exchanges, but he showed his heart and chin by fighting Maidana at his own game for large parts of the fight. He will only improve from here.

I don't care if you cu*ts don't give him credit. Khan won fair and square and if he fought his fight rather than being drawn into exchanges he would have won much easier. Khan proved to the world that he is legit and a future p4p contender

even tho i picked khan 2 win i was dissappointed in how he did it he started off fantastic boxing and goin 2 the body then he tried 2 show off throwin 8 punch combinations wasting energy and wasnt even affecting maidana then once he feels maidana's punch he starts running more and just throwing flurries it reminded me of watchin hector camacho throw then run 2 the other side of the ring it was super annoying, then he gets caught while maidanas tired and punching wildly and practicly gets ko'd on his feet but luckily maidana has bad conditioning and was able 2 escape with the win but if it were an old school 15 rounder maidana woulda got him sooner or later!

u kidding? maidana was completely gassed way before the 12th when khan was still pretty fresh

Khan proved he's not a future p4p contender, eventually he's going to be too big for 140 and I just don't see him beating top guys at 147 or 154, he'll get hurt badly.

What are you talking about? Hurt all right, or night? Either way a ****** comment. He was hurt in that one round a few times. Never hurt bad. He wasn't stumbling around the ring unconscious, or even got knocked down.

Cortez ****ed Maidana over. He wouldn't let him work the loose hold away, and he would come in and separate and restart ALL THE WORK MAIDANA did, and chase Khan ALL OVER AGAIN on that huge ring. Though Marcos Maidana was hurt by a liver shot, he recovered pretty quick. But Khan was badly wobbled towards the later rounds, almost got KO'd, didn't stand his ground and of course ran a MARATHON with plenty of ring to get away and Cortez to keep a good distance between them.

Sorry if i sound like i'm pro Maidana, but all the **** talking ,showing off Khan was doing pre-fight, i just cant stand it, insulting a guy who came up the hard way and earning his rank, while you cut to the front of the line just because you have the "GOLDEN (boy) TICKET.
