NOW i am one to claim a robbery to the fullest. BUT!! A Mexican is never on the winning side of a robbery. T.R.U.T.H. I felt it was a real deal draw... Kunts are funny nowadays! Either way i still believe PEREZ does his dam thang and wins !

Sounds like robbery from the BoxingScene account? WTF? Anyways, it wasn't the super aggressive style from Vic that we're used to. He fought like a mongoose but couldn't hurt Mares other than the flash knockdown. Mares' knockdown of Vic was also a flash knockdown. Mares landed the better combos and alot of good body shots and Vic looked wilted a few times. Vic was looking for one punch at a time and was getting backed up. Mares walked through Vic's punches. Vic couldn't hurt him-- but Mares couldn't hurt Vic to the head either-- but Mares did hurt him with body shots.

Man talk about how much difference a trainer makes. Mares use to be like a lighter hitting version of Ricardo Lopez with Beristain, now he just swings his arms like a wind mill just like Perez does, just like Agbeko does, just like Darch does.

He really used to the most polished guy in those lower weights. Now he's fighting at his competitions level. It's a shame too, he has the heart and discipline to last long but not the style.
