I think he belongs on that list not because he lost, But because of his general boxing skills he displayed in that fight. He literally looked like someone picked him out of the crowd and put boxing gloves on him. Now that may have been because he did not trained and lacked conditioning.

Poor conditioning can and will effect you technique, but damn he looked NOT like a professional fighter.
I agree with most of your post. I myself hadn't seen much of Cabellero (two full fights and only parts of others) before the Litzau debacle but anyways still never thought much of him. Which would warrant not putting him on an overrated list right there anyways. But more to the point, this ****** puts him on with the reason that 'he just lost to someone he was supposed to beat,' after the fact. I'd say hindsight's a funny thing except it's not even hindsight. Really think about it and anyone with half a brain will get how ridiculous that is.

The rest of his list is dead on and I don't have a problem with the order of the people on it.

Cabellero was just not a pro that night, I really think or hope it was because he over looked Litzau. Overlooking looking Litzau was very dumb, he is primarily a slick fighter.

You have to seriously train and be in shape to fight a slick fighter or you will look bad if you don't knock them out. I really think that's what happen to Cabellero. Cabellero may not be overrated but he is definitely over hyped.

Overhype and Overrated are two different things. Manny really do gets the most hype without a doubt, but he has proven himself to be one of the best of all time.

Bert Sugar list is laughable don't you think?

Even if you take Pac out of the equation he has Dempsey #9, Monzon not even in the top 50, and just plenty more questionable decisions.

Now if you look at Mike Silver list, another one that is laughable doesn't even have Pac nor Floyd in the top 100 do you think he is underrating them?

Which again goes back every fighter is overrated or underrated it all depends on who is doing the rating.

AS far as I am concerned he gets 0 credit or points for his last 6 fights. None of those fight puts him in a convo for ATG status.

Beating sub PAR opponents that are already damaged goods and weight drained does not increase your status. Hell it does not even take away from your status. But it does not improve your status in the sport.

Pacquaio is in a holding pattern. He has been in that pattern since the JMM fights (which he lost both times). ARUM and ROACH has pacquaio away from anyone that has the ability to consistently hit him back.

Seriously Pacquaio needs to put together a string of wins that includes A-level fighters in prime condition, proper weight and not coming of KO's or losses, then he will start to move up the ladder towards ATG status.

he must first do the following in no specific order:
1.TAKE THE DAMN TESTS (just to clear that up. I'm not accusing him)
2.Fight JMM and win for God sake (he has lost to this dude twice)
3.Fight PBF and WIN (on the first try or the second try just get a win)
4.Fight and knock off a young gun either Bradley, Alexander or Berto
5.No more catch weight fights with dudes that are damaged and weight
              drained

If he does this I will start including him in ATG convos.

                I agree with this post.
But if I had to create my list of the sports most overrated fighters it would be:
                1)Lucian Bute
                2)Saul Alvarez
3)Tomasz Adamek- Though I think he is looking to be more and more the real deal every fight
                4)Amir Khan
                5)Andre Berto.

Both Manny and Floyd are overrated in some ways but I'd definitely say Manny is more overrated.
