Like what is this ridiculous **** I'm hearing people saying that Ortiz is going to KO Peterson? I really feel this will be a tough fight for both fighters and will end by a decision win for one of these fighters. I don't remember anyone ever coming close to stopping Peterson. Yes, Peterson had that fight where he got dominated by Bradley but I didn't see him ever want to quit.
There's a difference between wanting to quit, and having to quit. Do u think Paul Williams wanted to quit when he fought Sergio the second time?

3 to 1 is a serious stretch... If I were a betting man, I'd take Peterson... He has just as much ability, pedigree and recognition amongst REAL boxing fans (If not even more) than Ortiz, who to me is a good young contender, but is being shoved down our throats like cheap beer...

This is as evenly matched a fight can be, IMO but Peterson may well be the winner this time because of his hunger... If he loses, he's pretty much out of the loop while Ortiz win or lose will be another chance...

Who will move from the ranks of VERY good fighter to World Class? Thats what this fight will determine, IMO...

Ortiz will stop Peterson IMO. The odds are right. I think anyone who takes Peterson will be dissapointed.

ortiz has better natural ability. he's bigger stronger, faster imho.

peterson is a good fighter, and ortiz is a quitter, but peterson has to wrong style to beat ortiz.

Peterson showed some serious gonads in the beatdown he took against Bradley... He came forward all night long and NEVER even thought of quitting... I became a fan that night...

bad style match up... ortiz wilts under pressure fighters, not boxers.
I'm tired of hearing how Bradley has no power... Thats totally wrong... As I said in an earlier post, I've seen about 7-8 of his fights and in about 5 of them, he's scored a knockdown... Maybe he doesn't finish guys off, but that doesn't mean he has no power...

if you're throwing 1000 punches and can't KO a guy you just hurt badly and he doesn't outweigh you by 20 lbs, you don't have any power.

bradley for the most part is an armpuncher. sorry to say it but it's true.

Ortiz didn't fight smart, Bradley would have boxed Maidana en route to an easy UD, what Bradley was able to do to Peterson was pure talent and we dont know yet if Ortiz can rise to that level for the entire duration of a fight. Maidana is a beat but he still lost to Kotelnik and Amir could have one that fight in his sleep.

??? You lost me man... Your point in kind of cloudy... I said he's put guys onnthe canvas in 5 of the 7 fights that I've seen of his, not countin ght eCampbell fight which was the 8th that I saw of his... That too me means he's got some pop, not like Mattheyse or Maidana (Those Argentinians can punch) who are KO artists, but he can indeed stop guys...

Its almost like Mayweather... He's a very accurate, powerful puncher, but he's not looking to knock guys out... Hatton was begging to be Koed thats why he got it, but thats just not Floyd's thing... (Could have knocked Shane asnd JMM out if he chose to)

These "Slick" types fight as much mentally as they do physically and more often than not like to outlast their opponents hence the supreme conditioning
