Top rank makes paper view cards (latin fury, pinoy power) that promote bs fights that over protect their fighters. I cant think of any fighters who golden boy over protect like crazy. Haye and Khan dont count, british fighters will always be british fighters
Did you see the last card? It had some of the best fights of the year on it. All of Golden Boys fighters are over-protected, except the old ones they are milking before there time is done.

Of course they protected Ortiz, and they did after the Maidana fight also.

When is Wilder going to step up? How long does he step up? What are they doing with him?

Matter of fact what top prospects have they had?

This whole Top Rank are over protected of their prospect is not true at all...They just know how to build up fighters unlike GBP.

you have horrible reading comprehension if you think that was the thrust of the article.

GBP has options on peterson meaning they own his soul and aren't taking any risks. they know ortiz is a quitter and might lose.

Despite the quitting thing with Ortiz, I think Peterson is being greatly underestimated by alot of fans. I doubt Peterson or Ortiz are underestimating each other but I know one thing is for sure that this fight has an unsure outcome in my opinion.

Like what is this ridiculous **** I'm hearing people saying that Ortiz is going to KO Peterson? I really feel this will be a tough fight for both fighters and will end by a decision win for one of these fighters. I don't remember anyone ever coming close to stopping Peterson. Yes, Peterson had that fight where he got dominated by Bradley but I didn't see him ever want to quit.

It wouldnt surprise me in the least bit to see Ortiz get beat by Peterson, and IMO it would be a easier fight for him to face Maidana. 3-1 betting favorites just mean more people bet on Ortiz to win than they do on Peterson. That has more to do with Ortiz being the bigger name than it does on there ability.

There is a reason they chose Maidana the first time, it's because technique wise, he isn't good.

The drunken master is Emanuel Augustus/Burton and I think that is Ray Olivera who he is fighting with.

                  the peterson bros were overrated.

ortiz can potshot and he has to power to hurt peterson. even bradley was able to stun him and bradley has no power.

bad style match up... ortiz wilts under pressure fighters, not boxers.

Why is Quitor Ortiz the favorite? Both havee 1 defeat. Ortiz quit agaisnt Maidana while Peterson lost to Bradley. Should be even.
