MR. ARUM, I take off my hat to you! I can see you did some reflecting. Yesterday, after I posted my analysis I read a comment made by another participant that helped me understand why you would be inclined to put the winner of Pacquiao-Mosely with the winner of the proposed Cotto-Margarito fight and it was clear to me that it made sense economically speaking but there was still something missing and that was depriving Cotto and/or Margarito the opportunity of a lifetime - the chance to redeem themselves and to further their legacy "bigtime". It was very pleasing to read about this last anouncement of progress between you and Lewkowicz of matching the winner of Cotto-Margarito with S.G. Martínez this indicates that appart from being an economic genious you are also a considerate and wise person. If you and Mr. Lewkowicz are true to your words and this fight comes to fruition both you and Mr Lewkowicz but especially you will get the respect of many Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, Argentinians, and fans in general. I hope this fight gets made - it will definitely be a huge event and an economic success!!

Adviser Sampson Lewkowicz and Top Rank Promotions CEO Bob Arum, have both confirmed a that a mutual conversation in Arum's Las Vegas office on Wednesday went favorable regarding a potential fall, 2011 clash match featuring Argentinian southpaw WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez (46-2-2, 25 KOs) and WBA junior middleweight titlist Miguel Cotto (35-2, 28 KOs) of Puerto Rico.
Martinez is doing that because there are no credible challengers his size. Seriously who is there for him to fight that's the same size?
hell no. martinez is picking on WWs cause he's looking for paydays. if he wants to get WW paydays, then maybe he should get his ass to WW. if he can't, then he should just forget about it.
sturm should be a big fight for martinez in germany. sturm sells out pretty good over there. he won't get USA mainstream exposure, but he'll get paid and he'll get mad props for whupping sturm in germany.
c'mon man, berto is trying to fight jr WWs. he's trying to pull a martinez challenging smaller fighters.
Also DiBella is in no position to have his top 2 fighters fighting each other... That wouldn't be a smart business decision by any stretch for a Mid level Promoter...
