    Cotto-Martínez lives!

MR. ARUM, I take off my hat to you! I can see you did some reflecting. Yesterday, after I posted my analysis I read a comment made by another participant that helped me understand why you would be inclined to put the winner of Pacquiao-Mosely with the winner of the proposed Cotto-Margarito fight and it was clear to me that it made sense economically speaking but there was still something missing and that was depriving Cotto and/or Margarito the opportunity of a lifetime - the chance to redeem themselves and to further their legacy "bigtime". It was very pleasing to read about this last anouncement of progress between you and Lewkowicz of matching the winner of Cotto-Margarito with S.G. Martínez this indicates that appart from being an economic genious you are also a considerate and wise person. If you and Mr. Lewkowicz are true to your words and this fight comes to fruition both you and Mr Lewkowicz but especially you will get the respect of many Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, Argentinians, and fans in general. I hope this fight gets made - it will definitely be a huge event and an economic success!!

      This is great news

For the first time in a long time, as a Cotto fan, to hear he can actually get these fights is amazing. Redemption followed by the great challenge in defeating Martinez. Cotto may beat Margs w/ a better strategy and lets say Marg did use plaster (I believe so), than coming in for the rematch w/o the plaster would make the win easier. Cotto has the skill to win both fights I just hope he has the hunger and desire. These wins are made for him to become a force in the game once again, maybe even cementing his legacy as a HOF'er, but he has to dig deep. I Hope Arum and Lewkowicz stick to this and give him this opportunity to redeem his status as elite but Cotto has to want it just as bad, apply himself in the gym, and really listen to Steward who Im sure can develop the perfect strategy to beat both these guys...WAR COTTO PUNETA!

First let's get Margo than work even harder onMartinez

I love this pLAN if it works out, Margo will still be a big challenge for Cotto Due to the sociological factor that he has over Cotto, but with Stewart In his corner the plan will be different and so will be the outcome with nO plaster! On the other hand Martinez is a very difficult fight, and Pacquio who is Cotto 's same height does not Want anything with Sergio, kudos to Cotto never says NO to a Big challenge, but he gas his work cut off for him with Sergio, mAy the best men win, that is what champions are made off, accepting all comErs with no fear, and Kudos to Martinez for giving him the fight!

this is really a good match-up.. and a good chance for Cotto to redeem himself. Martinez would be favored but Cotto can definitely win this. Cotto is much better skilled than a PWill or Pavlik.

Martinez said he had 3 fights left in him. So he's gong to have a no-name tune-up. Then Cotto. Who else can he fight to be number 1 p4p?

                Good news everyone!

I like this plan. I would like it even more if Cotto fights Berto then Margarito then Martinez. Maybew I'm dreaming though.

Completely forgot about him. Since Sergio is determined to fight a welterweight, why not have Dibella pull an Arum and do Martinez-Berto at 154?

Cotto-Margarito and Martinez-Berto in the Spring. The winners face eachother as do the losers in the fall.

Sounds like a great lineup to me.
