Yeah, but whats sad is that this is basically what everybody is talking about today. On ESPN radio Collin Cowherd went on for 20 minutes about how ****** boxing fans are to complain about this, which then led to him bashing the sport for corruption over the years and the whole "boxing is dying" nonsense.

All the while, nobody even mentions Tyson or Chavez. The story is just "look how ****** boxing fans are". I never understood why people get so touchy over the sanctity of Hall of Fames. Every sport has people in the HOF who somebody doesn't think should be there. Get over it, lol...

            I stand corrected!

Sorry I thought it made perfect sense since you know the film won an Oscar and has only been watched by every boxing fan who existed since the late 70's but oh yeah he has no reason to be in the Boxing HOF.

              i agree with you ...

commentators, writers, trainers, etc can be voted in ... why not Sly?

If you can't see the differences between all three cases then there is no helping you.

                In any regard.

Of course. Stallone doesn't go in as a boxer. It's not like he cost a real fighter a spot in the HOF.

                      3. Pioneer : last bout in or prior to 1892
                      4. Non-Participant : those who have made contributions to the sport apart from roles as boxers or observers. Based upon a candidates achievements and contributions in their particular field.
                      5. Observer : print and media journalists, publishers, writers, historians, photographers and artists.
