Ugh the fictional character Rocky despite his record held the fictional heavy weight title two times. He held it from 1979-1982 until he lost it by KO. He then regained the title that same year and his second title reign was from 1982-1985 when he retired.Comment

He has done a lot for the sport, so why not the hall of fame has a lot of non fighters in it. It is certainly arguable that Stallone did more for the sport than any of these men especially in terms of something they would be easily recognized for doing.Comment

this is so corny....I thought they took it too far when they put a statue up of this fictional character in my city when Philly has produced enough good fighters to put statues of REAL fighters up....now this!!...smh

^^^this/end thread.yeah the guy who wrote and was the star of the most iconic boxing film of all time!
Sorry I thought it made perfect sense since you know the film won an Oscar and has only been watched by every boxing fan who existed since the late 70's but oh yeah he has no reason to be in the Boxing HOF.Comment
