how come Hagler is regarded as one of the best fighters ever, when he most fought great fighters that moved up to fight him (leightweight Duran/welterweights Leonard and Hearns), but never moved up himself and challanged the bigger boys ??

People claim Hopkins, is chicken for having fighting welterweights, despite that he was 36 years old when he fought Tito, 39 for Oscar, 41 for Tarver, 42 for Wright etc.. And Hagler lost at 33 to Leonard, who had fought, what ?? 1-2 times in 5 years, and moved up to challange Hagler.


And Manny, who fought at featherweight, now is up at welterweight and fighting great fighters, and bigger boys. And still, Manny needs to move 160-pounds to fight Martinez to make some people happy.

How convinient that a 3 time Weltwer weight champion who held a 17 pound weight advantage suddenly becomes a bum when you feel like shhittting on pac. But the truth of the matter is this! I have always had no problem with the catchweights because the weigh in's are not held on the same day as the fight like they were when a guy like Henry armstrong was able to go from the lower weight classes to challanging for a Middleweight title. Henry Armstrong fought weltwerweights who weighed as close to 147 pounds as you could get them so the weight advantages wern't so dramatic. But 17 ***ing pounds? Don't you see a little double standard from fans who would never accept anything like that for their own fasvorite fighters but Pac gets the bar raised so high that people actually forget that they invented weight classes for a reason and when you have a fight like Manny who is doing something special and fighting at such a disadvantag i don't see what so bad about makeing certin concessions so hes only outweighed by 3 weight classes instead of 4.

How convenient that Pac selected a "3 time WW Champion" to fight for a LMW title? Do you not comprehend this? Do you not see the point I was making? You basically summed it up with your comment.

How convenient that Pac selected a "3 time WW champion" that was NOT a champion anymore (let alone a JMW champion), had been exposed for using plaster, was KO'ed by the man Pac openly ducked from 141-147 because he was "too good" at the time and this 3 time WW champ didn't even have a license to fight for that vacant 154 title, yet he was "picked" out of alllllllll the fighters AT 154? Let alone this 3 time WW champ actually being ranked at JMW.

That is called "picking and choosing" fighters at a "CERTAIN" weight, at a "CERTAIN" weight class that suits Pac's advantages (my entire point). If you think this is UN-TRUE than Pac fighting Martinez AT 154 would not be an issue. As Pac is holding in his left hand the title that Martinez won but was forced to "drop".

How is it that this is so wrong for the FORMER 154 titlists to call out THE Current 154 champion WHO HAS HIS OLD TITLE? Is this not boxing? It's not Martinez's fault HOW Pac "won" the title now is it? Now is it? Don't lie to yourself......

The fact that Pac ducks Martinez validates and exposes that he ducks any fighter who posses as A true threat AT ANY WEIGHT CLASS. I'm not even talking about JUST 154. Im talking about 140 (jmm), 147 (Mayweather, Berto, Alexander, Bradley), 154 (Martinez).

Pac is demanding a "small" JWW to fight AT 147. He's asking a career JMW to fight AT 147. Yet when Cotto was the WW champion and demanded for Pac (the challenger) to fight AT 147 (like Pac did for De La Hoya) for the 147 title, it was NOT an option Pac would NOT agree to this. See the hypocritical predicament he's in?

Oh my God Roach again with his weigh draining tactics. Martinez is the current best P4P fighter in the world. I was shocked to see how he KTFO Williams to be honest as much I love Cotto I think even Cotto would loose to him. But Roach using weights which are impossible to reach great way to duck Martines and to proclaim Pacquiao as the best fighter in the world or even P4P fighter in the world. I mean just take a look at Abraham at 160 pounds he lastet 12 rounds with prime Miranda in 168 he has become a monster with his power.
