Funny how Manny Pacquiao is too small now, but before he got
so much props for moving up and beating "bigger" fighters?
Martinez at 147? Roach knows it won't happen like Marquez
at 147. Manny is a very protected fighter. Willing to do
catchweights when it works for him, then going back to
the normal weight classes when the competition calling are
competitive. Dude is a fraud. I enjoyed watching him fight
at 130 but now this is ridiculous. I don't think Arum, Roach
and Manny want to fight anyone that has a chance to expose
or beat Manny. After digging up all the old links to boxing
articles, it is clear as day that Arum is protecting Manny's
career. Can't front that Top Rank did a great job making
Pac a house hold name but they did it at the expense of
deceiving and cheating the fans. Manny is a very entertaining
fighter but to call him the best P4P is an overstatement.

What, did *****s run out of substitutes that could finally expose Pac at junior middleweight and below that they now have no choice but to ride on a middleweight's bandwagon?

You guys are so hilarious it's not even funny.

Sergio himself said that Pac was too small for him right after his victory over PWill. How come Team Martinez started to challenge Pac just two days later? Did Pac suddenly get bigger or something? It's a *****-move, that's what it is, plain and simple. And *****s who deny that it's a cowardly challenge are *****es, plain and simple.

I can understand that. His job is to get Sergio paid also. What I don't understand is people whining about Team Pacquiao's unwillingness to take this fight at DiBella's terms.

Long before Sergio fought Williams, I have already stated my desire to see Pac fight the winner. I wanted him to quell all doubts and criticisms about catchweights and weight-drained and shot and all that. I wanted him to establish without a doubt that he is among the very best ever in the sport.

However, I realized that fans like me have been spoiled rotten and are simply being too selfish. Whether or not Pac faces or even beats Sergio at 155, there will always be people who will question his greatness. I realized that, if you still aren't a fan of Pacquiao's at this point in time, then you will never be.

Knowing that he only has three more fights remaining in his career, I just want to enjoy it while I still can. Pac has yet to fail to excite or thrill people in any of his fights (well, except perhaps for the Clottey fight). Thus, I know that whoever those last three opponents are going to be, they will all be slam-**** affairs worthy of my PPV bucks.

I say don't worry about who's next. There's still three fights remaining. The rest will all have their turn.

Why did Hagler never move up to 175-pounds to fight Michael Spinks ???
Because Hagler only wanted the fight if Spinks came down to 160-pounds.

how come Hagler is regarded as one of the best fighters ever, when he most fought great fighters that moved up to fight him (leightweight Duran/welterweights Leonard and Hearns), but never moved up himself and challanged the bigger boys ??

People claim Hopkins, is chicken for having fighting welterweights, despite that he was 36 years old when he fought Tito, 39 for Oscar, 41 for Tarver, 42 for Wright etc.. And Hagler lost at 33 to Leonard, who had fought, what ?? 1-2 times in 5 years, and moved up to challange Hagler.

And Manny, who fought at featherweight, now is up at welterweight and fighting great fighters, and bigger boys. And still, Manny needs to move 160-pounds to fight Martinez to make some people happy.

Boy, is Internet was around back in the "golden" years, my god how many fighters that would have been vewied as bums and never heard of today !!!
