I think everyone is missing the entire point. Whether its a finger poke, or a leg kick, it is against the law to be touching anyone in a confrontational manner especially when you're trying to hurt them.
Would Floyd himself like it if someone poked their finger in his face during a dispute? Of course not.

Is it a bit prissy of the security guard to go to the police? Maybe, but thats his right as a citizen. I don't give a **** about any celebrity, they aren't better than anyone else and have no right to be trying to physically intimidate anyone.
Of course it's against the law to attack the guard. I think the question here is if Floyd really did do it. This lame pic doesn't look like irrefuteable evidence to me. In fact this guard has every motive to blow a minor incident up to something big for obvious reasons.

We need witnesses. Not some random pic.

No, you cannot. If he wanted to do something about it he should have done something then. That was (allegedly) assault. He had a right to retaliate if he was 'concerned for his physical well being.' That's all it takes. If he had witnesses to corroborate his story, then he fights back (even if he didn't) and either Floyd kicks his ass and REALLY gets in a legal bind, or he gets the better of Floyd in a just response.

What he pulled is a super mega ***** move.

The thing is Bat, to my knowledge, no mention of suing has even been made yet. He filed assault charges against him, not legal papers. Now, do I think he MAY sue him? It's very possible in the future I'm sure. But to assume the man "slapped himself" and set up a non-existant confrontation (to include writing Mayweather several tickets) rather than to believe that Mayweather, who has been on a complete tirade for the last couple of months, poked a man who dared to tell him what he can and can't do - just seems a bit far fetched for me.

You can rest assured that a suit is coming up. My point is that people jump on this opportunity to bash Floyd even though so little is known.

No question that Floyd deserves the bashung if he is guilty, but all we know so far is the word of a security guard and a dim pic. Not a shed of evidence.

This is not good news. The prosecution in Floyd's upcoming trial will certainly use this incident to establish a pattern.
