Pacquiao: I’m a very proud Filipino. Our color is something that gives us our identity. Our culture is similar to India and Pakistan, where they prefer the light skin. Everybody looks at America and Caucasian people as the ideal. Even in the Philippines everyone wants to come to America; they think it’s a great lifestyle.Comment

yes really, what is so hard for you to understand? Floyd IS the good guy here, in this instance he IS the one kicking no nonsense and he IS the one who made more sacrifices to try and get this fight done, you're only defending Manny because you're a **** blinded fan but if you were being neutral you would realize that Floyd only asked for 1 thing and had already agreed to like 5 demands from Manny without question, Manny on the other hand makes 5 demands and can't even agree to 1 demand without trying to switch it up and not fully agree to what his opponent asked for, not without getting him to budge at least a little and with Floyd you're NOT going to do that, he should be happy Floyd even accepted his terms and didn't try to bring out excuses
Michael Konckz put it into perspective very well that Manny and co walk around already feeling like you have to greet him with your ass cheeks spread open instead of a hand shake when it comes to negotiating and that is what they are trying to pull on Floyd but Floyd didn't ask for a cutoff he asked for testing leading all the way up to the fight itself, if Manny is serious about this fight he would have accepted Random Testing going all the way up to the fight but did he do that? no he just complained and made excuses as to why he don't want to take a test
did you see Floyd backing lanes and saying things like "10,000,000$ is too much money, lower it down to at least 1 million" no he took the demand without question and can you imagine if he did? everyone would be like "he wants the amount lowered because he knows he will come in overweight" yet the same speculation isn't made about Pacquiao with denying the testing, Floyd wanted 154 to be the weight class and Manny wanted 147, did Floyd bitch about that? no, Floyd wanted a big ring and Manny wanted a smaller ring, did Floyd bitch about that? no, Manny wanted a smaller glove size, did Floyd bitch about that? no. Floyd comes out and asks for just literally 1 demand and Pacquiao not only bitched about it but he switched his stance up like 5 times and killed the talks of this fight twice.
all things considered and in the interest of pure fairness while separating yourself from whatever bias you may have who was really the one to kill this fight, the guy who accepted like 4-5 demands and only made 1, or the guy who got 4-5 his demands met and still doesn't want to accept his opponents sole demand without trying to add his own stipulation?Last edited by crillz; 12-08-2010, 12:44 PM.Comment

In the Philippines, four out of every 10 Filipino women use skin-whitening creams. What can be done to combat these issues where darker Filipinos are being discriminated against and feeling shame for their own skin?

Bringing up contradictions .. in this type of thread? Both camps are full of them. Difference is.. Manny is compromising to make the fight, while the other fighter is NOT thinking about boxing.. Floyd has made it very clear.. he does NOT want it..Comment
