Bob Arum strikes again. This should be enough proof
to everyone (INCLUDING Manny Pacquiao fans) that
Arum/Top Rank are not trying to have their fighters
risk losing to Top Fighters and breaking bread. I said
this a long time ago on Boxing Scene. Now I know why
Oscar and Floyd left Bob Arum.

I do not think this is proof that Arum is ducking fights for his fighters(heck he throws Cotto in there with everyone) But it does prove his is a greddy s.o.b. thats wants all the money to himself!

Yea but thats is not the problem lou and martinez are willing to recieve less even though hes the champ. The problem is that arum and cotto just dont want the fight they dont want to do a co promotion when in the past They have done co promotions with lou like when they did the martinez pavlic fight. Arum doesnt want another of his stars to get beat by martinez.

I disagree,Arum has always thrown Cotto in with any one he thought he could make a lot of money against.I think this is a typical case of ASrum being the greedy b##tered he all ways is. He wants all the money so he refuses to copromote with anyone,thats why he tried to buy out Dibella with a low ball offer of 2.5 mil becuase the fight would make a heck of alot more than that.

True Dat! The fighters may or may not be scared but what we do
know is that Arum wants all the money. Doesn't mean that Pacquiao/Cotto
can't tell Arum what to do because they can. They probably don't
care because Arum is making them alot of money without the risks.
Well for Pacquiao but Cotto went through some tough fights.

Arum would only throw is fighters in there when his fighters need that fighter to get to the next level, He would never put his fighters in when they are on top.

Example, He would put Pavlik in with Taylor because there is NO risk there for him, If Pavlik loses fine but if he wins then his name becomes bigger, He would put Cotto in with Mosley because there is NO risk there for him, If Cotto loses fine.

But he wouldnt put Pavlik in with Williams because Pavlik is the bigger name and losing to Williams would bring his stock down, Same with Cotto. Arum follows a pattern thats easy for a lot of fans to see.

They think we are getting competitive fights but in reality we are not, We are just lining Arum's pocket up with dosh.
