Makes sense because Cotto/Marg is a much bigger fight. It could probably do like 700,000 PPV buys. No one is really screaming for Cotto/Martinez and if it were to happen it would probably be a WCB bout. Cotto/Marg might be able to be held at Yankee Stadium as well.

Regardless of how you feel the fight would go, one thing is if the fight gets done there is no reason why Martinez should demand more than 35%. One guy is a superstar that has done real numbers on PPVs, put 25,000 people in Yankee Stadium, sold out MSG multiple times, and has given HBO some of their highest ratings over the last few years. The other guy just had the biggest fight of his career infront of 5000 people.

BTW, Martinez does nothing that Miguel hasn't seen. His style isn't as big of a problem as some of you guys keep thinking it it.
