Because you wished death on Bob Arum. Don't do that again or they will probably ban you next time.

what the hell man? Lol. I'm not the only Boxing fan who did that. Bob Arum is bringing Boxing down. What happened to freedom of speech? Does he have any people working for him at BoxingScene?

So what? Martinez is a good fighter but being a good fighter and holding belts doesn't mean you are getting paid. Boxing is as much of a business as it is a sport and in a super fight versus Cotto he doesn't deserve anywhere close to 50%. Let Martinez fight someone else for 50% and see if it comes anywhere close to the 30% he would get against Miguel. Miguel may not have a great opponent out there but at this point in his career it doesn't matter. He is going to make at least 3 million versus any bum. So, why take a pay cut and a huge risk against Martinez? When Martinez proves he's worthy of big paydays by creating revenue at the gate and viewership, he can then demand top dollar.

          Martinez/ Cotto is 50/50.

          lol@ 65/35.

Anyway, Arum saved Cotto a career ending beatdown anyway. So don't complain.

You're fooling yourself if you think it's 50-50.

Martinez and DiBella nearly did a sing and dance to announce they'd put their MW belt on the line at a 155 catchweight to get the fight. That pretty much says all you need to know right there.

He can fight martinez for 60-40 or get it with margarito for 50-50, its fair to assume margarito is a draw.

Regardless of how you feel the fight would go, one thing is if the fight gets done there is no reason why Martinez should demand more than 35%. One guy is a superstar that has done real numbers on PPVs, put 25,000 people in Yankee Stadium, sold out MSG multiple times, and has given HBO some of their highest ratings over the last few years. The other guy just had the biggest fight of his career infront of 5000 people.

BTW, Martinez does nothing that Miguel hasn't seen. His style isn't as big of a problem as some of you guys keep thinking it it.
