So because I refused to use Boxrec just to look up some name, I don't know anything about boxing? Okay. I think if you use Boxrec to look up resumes and make an argument from boxrec, that's when you don't know much about boxing. When you discuss boxing straight from your head and get a first name mixed up, it's much better than always having to use Boxrec in an argument. On a one on one discussion about boxing without internet, Boxrec users would be hopeless.

      No doubt he can.

I just wish people would only comment on topics they had a clue about. If a topic comes along and I don't know enough about it I just stay the **** out. People should do the same.

If Tszyu and Stallone can, then yeah I guess Winky can too. He has two wins over another HOF'er[real HOFer] Shane Mosley. He also has Trinidad on there.
He beat one guy who was just OK at 154 and beat a part time past prime fighter...

How is that more impressive than what Kostya did?

You are trying to discuss the merits of Kostya's career when you think he got stopped by Verno Phillips.

And uhh, how am I boxrec warrior again? I got a similar name confused that had nothing to do with the Phillips Tszyu fought. But you knew exactly who I meant. If I am a boxrec warrior, shouldn't I get everything accurate?
            You would think so...

As to the TS, find another champ of recent times apart from someone like Hopkins etc who was a top P4P ranked fighter for a decade, was the first Undisputed 140 champ in forty years, was a four time world champion, and from memory beat 15 future, former or current world champions. Fifteen. That's about as many as Pac or someone has, and no, I'm not comparing him to Pac or saying he has the 'names' but being the first guy to knock Chavez out is pretty comparable to laying waste to the Zombies of Oscar or Morales.

He also made about 15 defenses of his title, including about five of his unified and Undisputed titles. He doesn't have the 'names' of some of the bigger fighters but his period of dominance (find another fighter today who has beaten the next two top, main guys at his weight class the whole time he was champ and about half the fighters who were in the top ten over his reign) at 140 is utterly undisputed. He beat every number one fighter for his title and beat every other top champion in the division while he was at the top. Very, very few fighters in the sport over the last few decades have done what he did at 140.

Talking about fighters like Oscar, Mosley (who was never a 140 fighter) and Mayweather (him and Tszyu were in talks to fight after the Hatton 'money' fight, but at 36, being a part time fighter for the last few years and injury ridden, he lost) is evidence of not knowing what was happening in boxing otherwise you would know why those fights didn't happen.
