7 day cutoff is reasonable, but year round testing is needed

Floyd is not interested to clean up boxing because that's pretty much impossible.
Random testing means that you're getting tested during the whole year. That's the only good way to catch a cheater. Most cheaters juice during their off season. Is Floyd getting tested right now? No, he's not so he could be juicing like crazy right now, because once again there's no such thing as random testing and will never be.
It doesn't make any sense to claim you want to clean up the sport and talk about "random testing" during 6 weeks leading up to a fight.
The thing is IF Manny is using steroids it's very easy for him and his team to beat the test because of the lack of random testing. To cheat in boxing is like taking candy from a kid.
I wish Floyd would just forget about this whole drug testing and just focus on beating Pac. I'd pick Floyd to win anyway cause IMO I see Floyd as the superior boxer and he should be able to outbox him....but I don't know what's going on in his head.Last edited by IMDAZED; 12-07-2010, 03:26 PM.Comment

im not gonna reply directly to anyone who comes on here like a child and flames people. but for those concerned about the safety of steroids, YES they are dangerous IF used incorrectly. BUT they are used for legal medical reasons all the time. a team of doctors have testified before congress citing the benefits of correct steroid usage.
ANY DRUG USED INCORRECLTY WILL CAUSE YOU HARMComment

You said Tygart advised him 14 days was ok. Did you guess that or do you have proof? because - while you were making up stories - Tygart stated that he would never go for that. In January. So go ahead, show me where you found this statement.Comment

U cant say in the same post that 7 days is good enough BUT year-around is best. Shyt just doesnt add up.
Then u will dismiss the fuss that roach made about margie getting tested before d/t shyt being out of his system after the fight. This is the same corner that is averse to OSTs period.
Also, amateurs fight in tourneys year around so year around testing makes sense there. But, pros fight 2-3 times a year at the elite level. Therefore, they train for their fights 2-3 a year in 6-10 week camps. THIS is when a fighter will cheat.
And BTW, theoretically, pacq can blood dope before the fight and the postfight blood test will show an elevated Hgb/Hct, but he can just say he is dehydrated which would be hard to dispute. There are no markers for your own blood that u take out weeks before and put right back in after ur body has compensated for the pint or two that u took out. Increased Hgb/Hct = increased stamina.
Now u can go back throwing darts at ur pbf postersComment
