Absolutely, no gain for berto fighting another unknown contender. It doesnt matter what fans says about him now coz depending his welterweight belt 5 times is enough to challenge the best around. Pac has not depended his belt at superlightweight, depended welterweight once against stablemate Clottey and still got that opportunity to fight at light middleweigth for a crown with another stablemate not to menion most at catchweight. Berto deserves a better challenge that will shape his popularity.

Sorry but you fail. My 'suggestion' in saying that who has Aydin fought refers to how Berto is looking at the big picture, and why Berto wants a fight against a big name before fighting his mandatory. You keep saying that 'it can be argued' lol...WTF lol. I'm not a fan of Berto. I'm looking at it from his point of view. If Berto can't get a big fight, he has to fight his mandatory period.

Exactly right!, you just mentioned it. That's why, he wants Pacquiao because Pac is the best in his division at welterweight w/t the wbo belt and he has the wbc.
