Look at Bob Father Arum when he says OH I DONT LIKE DEALING WITH MAYWEATHER I DONT THINK THE FIGHT WILL HAPPEN .... thats his FREEKING JOB! like Dana White said his job is to sign the best and get the best fights going on! It's a bit easier for Dana White to get fights made as he has a monopoly on relevant fighters with a lower level of competition. When the sport continues to grow he will essentially be no different to Bob Arum as he displays the same willingness to keep fights in house.

That being said, I am happy with boxing overall. I don't understand people behaving as thought Mayweather vs Pacquiao not happening is ruining the sport. We have had multiple fights this mont that provided more excitement than their possible bout would.

Fans keep crying over the ''state of boxing'' but as far as I'm concerned they're to blame by not supporting fighters that actually give the action and fights they crave.

MMA is different. Dana White controls the UFC, who in turn pretty much control MMA. Boxing isn't built around organizations.
