Yup plus Vic joined the tournament. So if both fighters really wanted to fight it would be as simple as joining the tournament, but one fighter refused.

Doesnt matter. Donaire is goin to face the divisions champ. So it makes more sense than joining the tournament.

What are you talking about Montiel hasnt been ducking anyone Montiel has been trying to fight him since the Darchinyan fight you need to check your news and not go ahead and make decisions on a fight based on race thank God im not filipino nor mexican to make a decision on this or any other great filipino vs mexican fight. Honestly i think montiel is slightly faster and skilled than Donaire only advantage for Donaire is Montiel is coming up in weight but id say its going to be a war time to test Donaire true skills and prove everyone that the Darchinyan fight was not a fluke

                  LOL. you kidding me?
i admit, vic had a great run after his loss to donaire..
but donaire was sitting out for a WHILE... arum was doing a horrible job with him. donaire was WAITING to fight vic again. promotors couldnt make it happen. why the hell would donaire be scared of vic? LOL.

for the longest time, donaire was just trying to get a meaningful fight signed.

Donaire is a bad dude. He's going to capitalize on every mistake Montiel makes.

apparently, humility isnt a quality you appreciate. LOL.

i would rather have a fighter KNOW he is a work in progress & continue to improve... rather than be overconfident & get exposed.

either way, most boxing observers think donaire has a great shot at montiel...
i appreciate nonito giving montiel respect. nothing wrong with that.
