Why is he expected to KO a guy who has'nt been KO'd? I honestly think it was to get some rounds in against a durable guy. I think thats what the plan was with Baldomir but baldi did'nt last.

Ndou has never been stopped in his career therefore this result was as expected.

he was wearing a very padded glove, (winning) if he was wearing Reyes gloves the dude wouldn't have made it through the whole fight.

Reminds me of clottey vs pac, the knock out never came because ndou didn't want to engage, knockouts usually happen inbetween exchanges, and ndou was on defense mode like 90% percent of the fight

still a solid performance for canelo. what do people expect?
this kid's got a great future, he already has the huge drawing power.
he brings his own crowd to the party.

              bring on canelo/berto. LOL

hey i always say respect everyones opinion, if somebody didnt like canelos performance so be it. the kid did what he was suppose to and outboxed his opponent and won by ud. canelo will get way better obviously but all in due time.

I dont mean to sound negative, but a few things I picked up on, he gets hit clean with jabs, and left hooks at times, seems to fight too flat footed which makes him appear a bit plodding, and he fights too square, which leaves him very open when he fights off the backfoot.

I reckon these problems could be corrected with a slight tweak, although it depends on whether his trainers are good enough to spot theseissues. What I would get Alvarez to do, is not to fight with a clenched fist all!! the time, as its probably that whats making his shoulders too tight, meaning he cant react fast enough to block or parry punches, I would also tell him to fight on the balls of his feet more, instead of flat footed all! the time, I would also get him to fight more side on, as fighters who fight square are always more open defensively when they're backed up.

I think he has a bright future without addressing those issues, but if he were to really maximize his potential, then I think those minor, but significant tweaks to his style, could help him out a lot defensively.

dude is a great talent at his age but he can get touched up. gbp better not rush him cuz they might end up paying for it.
