He still a kid and has skills but has a long way to go!!! but his people are over hyping him!!! lmao when the commentator in Spanish said that in a yr and half Canelo will be ready for Pacquiao!!!

What I saw that need to improve IMHO:
    1. Was too excited (not 2 bad , he still pretty young)
    2. Lacks head movement
    3. Square off, specially when throw 3 punch combo
    4. Didn't used the jab consistently (I know he was looking for the KO)
    5. Seemed out of conditioned (not sure if was cause he was so excited), started breading heavily after the 3rd round. (w/ mouth opened, good chance to get a broken jaw vs a good puncher)
    6. Dropped his hands too frequently.
    7. Jumps back instead give angles when retrieving.
    8. Didn't listen his corner.

    Good:
    1. Strong (power in both hands, not 1 punch ko but does have pop)
    2. Very good left hook to the body
    3. Decent counter puncher. (actually looked better when countered in the fight)
    4. Still young and GBP is investing wisely, putting decent quality opponents.
    --------------------------------------------
    Shouldn't go above 147 for a while
I would get a guy like a Zab Judah, Luis Collazo or Paulie M. as his next opponent.
    3.

Kid got something worth way more valuable than another KO, he got 12 rounds of experience in against a veteran fighter that came to survive. This is the type of work he needs to be getting in before he challenges some A list competition.

It kind of reminds me of the Tyson Bone crusher fight when Tyson was 20 years old. The fight was pretty boring to say the least and Tyson looked less than himself. At this point all we can do is watch Canelo and see how he turns out. At this point he doesn't look like anything too special to me.

N'Dou has fought undefeated Cotto, hard hitting Cintron, prime Sharmba Mitchell, prime Junior Witter, he also fought the hard hitting Phillip N'Dou.

Why do I mention these guys? They are all/were all hard hitting guys the time and they couldn't knock N'dou out.

So Canelo shouldn't be bashed for not stopping this guy. N'Dou is not your average, glass chin, there to make you look great, journeyman.

Keep those names in mind, before you bash Canelo for not stopping him. Young Miguel Cotto, Cintron, prime Witter, and Mitchell who at the time was very dangerous as well.

Saying that, Paulie Malignaggi was able to drop N'dou.

Paulie stunned Miguel Cotto and Juan Diaz. And although he lost against Khan, he left his face all bruised up. Not saying he's some KO artist, but I think he has deceiving power. The type that stings and may shock you, not really much hurts.

It's like people saying Froch has deceiving boxing skills.

on one hand you have a young contender at the age of 20 fighting seasoned old men who in fact always had strong chins during their professional career so in one way a young contender can't be critized as much as the supposedly #1 p4p fighting old washed up guys. Seriously if you are going to be the #1 or get praise from the people by beating old guys and criticize a 20 year old for the lack of step up in competition is just plain ******.

**** boxingscene made a huge fuzz of berto's ko of hernandez lmaol like that **** wasn't expected has he been a former world champion?? thats the difference here to me it was better he got 12 rounds of work instead of 3 rounds and a ko whats the point there. Not to mention the guy was on defense mode all night.
