Lets be real. Alvarez is a good up and comer but he still has years to groom. If he fights Berto next year, he is getting whooped. Berto is to fast and Alvarez gets caught a lot. Plus Alvarez isn't fast but throws good combinations. But Berto whoops him in 8 if they fought next year. But in a couple years he will have a better chance if he is brought up right and not shoved to the lions like Vargas was.

Yea i agree with you berto is fast as hell and would be able to land on him. But canelo also has a good jab and power and would bully the smaller berto. I see it as a toss up but would favor berto at this point canelo needs to get a conditioning coach he always ends up looking tired in the middle rounds and ending ones. I think thats one of the reasons roach has such a good result with his fighters. Like pac khan and now chavez.

You need to stop being a hater canelo is stepping up in class it doesnt matter if he has 40 or more fights till he gets a belt as long as he doesnt loose and keeps improving.
