I think Bradley handles them at this point. My point is why fight guys who have recently suffered big losses instead of an undefeated champion?

Bradley has called Pac out. When Mosley called Mayweather out, this message board was polluted with threads about being a punk if you don't fight someone who calls you out. Now that Pac isn't fighting someone who calls him out the excuses about it being a business and Bradley not bringing enough to the table are all over the place.

I agree, boxing is a business, but the hypocrisy from some Pac fans is sickening. They criticize Maywether for certain behaviour and then justify and even praise Pac for the same damn behaviour. I actually used to cheer for Pac, but cannot anymore in good conscience.

Kinda reminds me of the Dela Hoya vs Pac too when it was announced..Hypocrisy works both ways..

Gatti-Ward were three brutal and exciting fights, no doubt. Heart and courage, not a lot of skills, though. Some club fights are actually very exciting because neither guy can slip a punch. Personally, I prefer skills. I enjoyed the Mayweather-Mosley fight.

I was actually happy when Pac fought DLH. I had seen the Forbes fight and won quite bit of money from people who "kinda watch boxing" and thought DLH was still good.

Maybe you should watch the UFC. This sport is called boxing. ODLH fought Floyd at 154 and Pac at 147. ODLH was clearly weight drained. Styles makes fights my man and anyone that comes forward will get caught by Pac. Floyd is more of a technician. You can't look at how they won and that be all. Pac hasn't fought a 'boxer' since Juan Manual Marquez. You see all of the trouble he had with him. You like fighters and brawlers and there is nothing wrong with that. Floyd is a pure boxer.

What about a guy like Bradley? Undefeated champion at Pac's supposed ideal weight of 140 with 4 defenses. Or even a guy like Berto, an undefeated champion at 147 with 5 defenses.

Instead, he faces a guy like Clottey (decribed by Arum as a "good loser") and the disgraced Margarito. Now Mosley?

I would favour Pac against Bradley and Berto, but these guys have not yet learned how to lose, and that is not what Roach and the gang seem to want.

Well, back when the Pacquiao vs. Clottey fight had been made, Berto had a fight scheduled with Mosley. So, Berto wasn't available and then he pulled out of his fight with Mosley due to the earthquake so he was shelved until summer. And Bradley wasn't even a name yet (and he isn't even really a name now). At least with Clottey, you got a guy who fought a spirited fight with Cotto that some people believed Clottey won. Nobody thought Clottey would mail it in like he did after going life and death with Cotto...

Personally, I think his next fight should be vs. Berto or JMM. Either one I could live with. But even having said that, I still believe it will be Mosley because the casual fan will recognize Mosley's name, the guy who beat ODLH twice, etc. and they will buy that fight up. And even though Mosley hasn't looked good lately, I think it will do more PPVs than Berto or JMM would and make more money...

Oh, I did. When my brother asked me for my take on the fight for betting purposes I said that Clottey would earmuff and Pacquiao would wail on him for 12 rounds but wouldn't be able to stop him. I only wish that I had written that down...LOL!
