Wow...seriously, chito? You need that translated? If that's the case then you're the exact person I'm talking about in that post.Comment

You don't care about Floyd but your buddy Grustler does.I don't really care about Mayweather, and I am not too sure if he is even relevant to boxing at this stage..... aint he on vacation, sunbathing and getting arrested?
..... but I notice that you started your post by saying "You said in your previous posts that..... you..... wanted to see links....."
..... but I also notice that you did not actually provide any ?
I am not doubting any particular point you made - although I can see two glaring innaccuracies - but I would just be interested to see where this is going.
And when you have finished your analysis on a guy that is not even relevant to boxing, I will ask you a few questions about one who is
If you really followed, he stated that these fighters hadn't called out Floyd. If you are a boxing fan then you would know that Margarito, Williams, Mosley, Manny all did call Floyd out and coincidentally just when the undefeated Cotto was ready at 147, Floyd went on vacation.
Do you really need links to know these facts or should I at least respect your knowledge and just say, you made an incorrect statement, as I have explained to Grustler? Certainly at some point, if someone like Grustler doesn't believe, then I will. I have done before with others when their posts begin to deteriorate and they call me out..... but again, what I said is so obvious and true. Right?Comment

You clearly missed what Grustler requested. I stated it again (see above).... but you can read my previous posts for more detail.Still no links. Mayweather called out Mosley in '99 and '06. It also isn't Mayweather's fault if Cotto isn't ready to fight him. I specifically recall Mayweather stating that Cotto was "too green to fight me" as he trained for the Gatti fight... Cotto never responded.
I didn't read the rest of your post though. It's clear that you hate Mayweather and failed to do what you originally stated in your rant.
Still, I had even most of your statements covered too and see that you didn't even read my entire post. So you can't properly assess this discussion as you have tried subjectively.Comment

At the end of the day! Manny Pacquiao is going to need
to fight Floyd to solidify his claim as the P4P best in the
sport because he never beat Floyd to hold the title rightfully.
There are still some boxing experts and outlets that rate
Floyd as the best, still and homie ain't even fighting that much.
Talking about he don't need Floyd, Floyd needs him but Arum,
Roach and Manny have been mentioning Mayweather through
all of his previous fights and Floyd is not even thinking about
them dudes. Arum is using Floyd Mayweather Jr's name to help
sell Manny Pacquiao. That's a straight up marketing technique.
Why would people (Pac fans especially) believe that Floyd is
ducking Manny, when my sig tells the whole story as to who
has been prolonging the fight. In Arum's own words? How
could ANYONE debate that? Pac is going to fight Mosley after
Floyd dismantled Shane? Pac fans say Mosley was old against
Floyd? what about after Floyd and Mora? I think Manny is an
exciting fighter but clearly this guy is not trying to fight anyone
that can match him. He's a carefully constructed media hype
fighter. Bob Arum and Top Rank did a good job at making
Pac out to be the best in the sport.Last edited by GRUSTLER; 12-05-2010, 01:53 AM.Comment

No truer words have never been spoken........Still no links.
So Mayweather wants Tszyu, but television contracts keep them apart.
He wants Gatti, but the legal situation has made negotiations balky.
He wants De La Hoya, but Oscar has taken a firm stance against fighting him.
Cotto can fight Gatti, but why would Top Rank make a fight in which its man gets a substantially smaller percentage of the pie, when it could make Mayweather-Cotto instead?
Gatti-Mayweather is the immediate plan. But Top Rank is taking a close look at this, and seeing this backup solution: Mayweather-Cotto in a pay-per-view clash this summer, instead of Gatti-Mayweather. Then, if Cotto wins, make a pay-per-view mega fight against De La Hoya in late 2005.
“Cotto needs a couple more tune-ups. Right now he’s a little too green,” Mayweather said
http://www.thesweetscience.com/boxin...tto/%5B/url%5D.Arum and Cotto NEVER wanted it. Remember.... Cotto"We're looking for guys like Ricky Hatton and 'Pretty Boy' Floyd Mayweather. So you're seeing now the finishing touches on the emerging superstar, and in 2006 hopefully he will be able to claim the mantle of the real, real superstar."
Hatton emerged as the recognized 140-pound champion with his TKO of Kostya Tszyu June 11. Mayweather, the pound-for-pound king who is also promoted by Arum, stopped Arturo Gatti to claim a junior welterweight title two weeks later.
Cotto against either man would certainly qualify as a super fight, but before either match can be explored seriously, he has to keep winning."
was at the Gatti fight. I even remember Floyd telling Cotto
to come talk to him if he wanted a fight and stop letting
Arum call the shots on a video interview. Cotto could have
pressured Arum to make that fight. Arum didn't want to put
Cotto in with Floyd to protect his fighter. I don't understand
how Floyd could duck a guy that obviously he was considered
to be by far better and they were around the same age and
in the same division at the time. I am disappointed that the
fight with Cotto/Mayweather never happened but don't believe
for a second that it had something to do with Floyd being scared
of Cotto.Comment
