But when Floyd was with Arum he was regarded as a fighter who fought everybody lol. Just Arum using his connections to paint perceptions through the media.

Exactly..him and DLH were greatest figters in the sport when with top rank then when they left to try to make their own way they were labeled as cowards..soon donaire will take pacs place and he will bite the dust cause thats what arum does.

That's why I don't pay attention to the so called boxing experts. Half of them don't even attend the fights that the report on.

                  Bob Arum happened.....

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."

Floyd Mayweather Jr. rejected promoter Bob Arum's $8 million offer to fight welterweight titlist Antonio Margarito, and he instead exercised a provision in his contract to buy Arum out.

Eventhough Floyd left Arum long ago, that hasn't
stopped Arum from making money off of Floyd's
name by saying Floyd is ducking his fighters. Arum
is not in any hurry to negotiate a fight with Floyd
and I think my sig says it all. Mosley had to leave
Golden Boy to get a fight with Pacquiao. Not you,
but Alot of you guys that post on here need to get
                    a clue.
