''The Philippines has a population of over 92 million people, claiming more than forty current and former world champion boxers. That's a nice showing. But does it sound like a great per capita ratio?''

Puerto Rico has about 70 champions despite having only 4 million in population. The Philippines population is 23 times more but has produced roughly over half the amount produced by PR. Thus, on a per capita basis, she has to produce close to 1600 champs to equal PR's output.

LOL! Please, no more famous Puerto Ricans--J Lo, Gerardo Rivera, Hector Camacho, Angel Manfredy, Eric Morel, WV2(too many silly boxers to name), Eric Estrada, Chi-Chi Rodriguez, Charlie Rangel, that kid from Chicago trying to blow **** up for al-Qaeda-- and didn't one of your basketball players act the fool with a gun while in an NBA locker with a teammate? BTW, Mexicans are a shy people who aren't inclined to pursue acting or singing careers.

70 champions and how many in the top 50 in Ring's 80 greatest fighters of the last 80 years? ***ZERO*** PR has by far the world's poorest quality of fighters among ATG's. BTW, you don't have 70 if you don't count your phony champs with Mickey Mouse belts like the WBU, WEC, IBU, etc. Lastly, alot of your legit champs became champs because the WBO is a Puerto Rican belt based in Puerto Rico.

Mexicans are too quiet and shy to be ridiculous but even if we did have some you'd have many more per capita.

I've seen many PR ATG lists without Jose Basora who defeated Sugar ray Robinson and Jake la Motta, because of the propaganda.

Hispanics are 2nd to African Americans in United States, I think self hating Hispanics, like yourself, who hate on Puerto Rico for their achivements, bring us down in America. Only spread hate, I think Mexicans represent themself's, not Latin america, they are Native Americans to me. But back to topic, I think Cuba will have more ATGs than Puerto Rico, so watch out for them.

I love Puerto Ricans-- I'm just defending myself kid. Puerto Ricans are actually irrelevant to Mexicans. latinos need to stick together because the world is quickly catching up--Phillipines, Japan, Europe, etc. It's gonna get hard for you guys even with the your WBO. Lastly, Mexicans are mostly Mestizo but we take great pride in our Aztec history-- even the white ones call themselves "Aztec"-- you guys need to take more pride in your African heritage-- I see alot of black PR's saying they are "Spaniards". Gotta run.
