Nothing has changed my opinion of him, beatinc current or former champs means nothing since the division is awful

Wlad has not defeated a single hall of fame boxer or a predicted future hall of fame boxer

he has been defeated by 3 bums, once is a fluke, two is pushing it but 3 times? please, you fool nobody but nut huggers

He lost 3 times. The fluke was Sanders. Bad style, seemed to just be a bad matchup for that version of Wlad. YOu take this version and put him in the ring with that Sanders and Wlad KO's him in 11 and makes it look easy.

The other 2 arent ever worth mentioning. He got tired twice in fights. We will never know if it was natural or other factors that led to his LB loss, but what I do know is that when he fought him again, it was totally different.

The way boxing fans are now, its almost worth it not to turn professional for a HW at least until their 30, because that 0 is needed to be considered great.

So the only way a boxer can be great is if they were beat less than 2 times. Whats your top 5 heavyweight list then.

          1. Marciano
          2. Lewis.
          3. Vitali
          4. Sultan Ibragimov
          5. Ruslan Chagaev

Combine the fact he has defeated nobody of note with the fact of his 3 losses makes him low, very low.

other heavies like lewis beat great heavies, thats the difference, they also avenged their defeats right away

His resume is just as good as Lewis'

Lewis lost 2 fights to terrible opponents. He only beat 1 HOF opponent in his career (Holyfield) who was a natural cruiser and gave away huge size advantages.

If you want to give him credit for beating Tyson fine, but if Wlad fought Tyson today it would mean just as much as Lewis-Tyson did.

And oh yeah, both of Lewis' title reigns began by winning vacant belts, he never beat a champion in the ring to win the title.
