I have tremendous love and respect for Cotto but the truth about the Margarito fight is, yes he could've been blocked up in that fight but that has nothing to do with the fact that he outgutted Miguel in that fight. Blocks don't help you take punches and punch back. Fact is "Miguel got beat by a bigger man who was able to take his best shots". Margarito wore him down then stopped him. The bigger, tougher, stronger man won that night and I wouldn't be surprised if Margarito did it again.

Nah man, the only fact here is that Margarito was blocked up, period. Cotto was giving this guy a damn boxing lesson, until the blocks got nice and hard from the sweat. Margarito is a mediocre boxer, theres no way in hell that he would've beat Cotto. Its funny how he hasn't won an important fight since getting caught with that ****. heres a thing or two about marg.he has allways been good but never great when u have something to help u cheat ur confidence level goes up cuz u kno u gona win now he cant use it hes being check every minute of the day everything he does so now hes not confident and thats why hes been getting his ass whop for the past couple of fights its like bringing a gun into a knife fight u know ull win so u dont worry now they take the gun away and just give u a knife now u scare for ur life.

This is a win-win situation for Cotto. IF he beats Martinez he will be the first Puerto Rican to win titles in 4 different weight divisions and be probably top three p4p and maybe that would set him to a mega match with Floyd or a rematch with Pac at 154-155. If he loses, he loses to one of the best fighters out there.

I trully believe that if he follows a good fight plan he can outbox Sergio.
