I for one would love to see Sergio vs Pac, but I guess it's cause they see other fighters as better options since the risk of fighting Martinez is too high. Plus, everyone still wants to see May vs Pac, and Pac loosing would hinder the chances of that fight from ever happening.

My point is if a fighter has 10 TKO losses it's no different if he was on his back, if the ref stopped it or the corner threw in the towel. "IT'S ALL A KO LOSS"

I would not count Cotto out on this one. Cotto only has two losses. In my mind and in the mind of many his loss to Margarito will always remain questionable until they meet again. In a rematch Margarito would not be able to load his gloves and besides something tells me he will never recuperate from the beatings he got first from the hands of Mosely and second from the hands of the Packman. On Cotto's only other loss to Pacquiao he was forced to fight at the limit of 145 lbs and one also has to wonder if the Pacman is really taking some juice given the feats he continues to accomplish which by no means seem to be in the "realm of the normal." Maybe the Mayweathers have a point here. For this reason I would not count Cotto out in a match with Sergio Gabriel "Maravilla" Martínez. Again do not count him out!

Martinez should go down to 150 and have a millions dollar fight, again manny ,arum going to regret not pushing for that fight, manny doesn't fight straight on
He hit and side step in angles,a win over Martinez would have close the door on the p4p ruler .
Martinez problem is he run out of gas in the later rounds , cotto need to head weave up close and box and pick and move ,let Martinez tired out ,cotto has a good chance,

I thought I told you that I understood your point. It doesn't matter though cause Cotto is still in a position where he can fight top names. Depending on his next fight...we will see if that continues to hold true.

I have tremendous love and respect for Cotto but the truth about the Margarito fight is, yes he could've been blocked up in that fight but that has nothing to do with the fact that he outgutted Miguel in that fight. Blocks don't help you take punches and punch back. Fact is "Miguel got beat by a bigger man who was able to take his best shots". Margarito wore him down then stopped him. The bigger, tougher, stronger man won that night and I wouldn't be surprised if Margarito did it again.

Also think Floyd even as he keep his left hand lower, that for a fighter can't see his jab till it's in his face. Still has good reflex and head weave to make Martinez miss .Floyd you or manny you both don't have to face Martinez as he isn't areal p4p yet,you suppose to have more than one title in diffrents weight class, but would sure look good a win over the man that knock Paul off the list Paul was a true p4p he has a few titles and was coming back down to fight manny at 147lb.

It wouldn't even be a contest. As much as I love Cotto this fight would be disastrous for him. When that punch that hit PWillz touches Cotto he is going to sleep and it will touch him because he loves to engage. This fight would not last long at all. Brutal KO.
I have to agree bro. I'm Puerto Rican and I love my fighters to death, but you have to be realistic on this one and realize that Cotto should not take this fight!! He should fight Chavez, Margarito, Canelo, Berto, people like that but not people comin from the 160's. If he takes this it'll go the same route as Trinidad, should have never gone up in the ranks to fight, Hopins, Wright and Jones. He could've stayed undefeated in lower weight classes, and no one can say he ducked anybody, cuz he fought everybody!!

Bottom Line, Cotto should not take the fight against Martinez let's be realistic guys!!

Cotto could beat Chavez Jr., Margarito (which is not a guaranteed) and then rematch the Manny/Mosley winner. That would be a very intelligent route for Miguel but if he goes after Martinez his career would end on a vicious note.
Hell yea, I agree 100% thats the way he has to go to get on top again. I agree with everything i've read that you have posted so far! No disrespect, i just dont agree that your a PBF fan! haha, it's all good though man, as long as we're in here for the love of the sport to each his own. I like intelligent discussion.

I really see this fight being made, for Martinez cotto a good money draw and he want that belt badly,
For cotto don't think he really want another fight with Margo win or lose he will not get credit.it's a big gamble but it put you back in running,go cotto .yea
