he always does that it gets them to step forward with their jab which is what most trainers want to see you do rather than flick your jab out

Good fight. Peterson has a 4 inch reach advantage, lets see if he can use that.

I think Peterson will make it a war, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if Lamont KO'd Ortiz.

Peterson's punching power is not impressive, and his style is to fight on the inside. He's not really a boxer. He gets within punching distance of Ortiz, he will get KO'd. And that's ignoring the possibility he has a weak Jaw (didn't say glass, but getting hurt by Bradley certainly doesn't mean u have a strong jaw) simply becuz Ortiz can knock u out no matter what ur jaw can do. As long as Ortiz knows this, he should win by KO. If he chooses to stick and move than that's when Peterson could end of giving him trouble.

And whether u consider Maidana not OWING him or not, if Maidana never fights him again, it simply means Maidana's scared. When ur scared to fight someone u beat into submission, and the person u beat into submission wants a rematch... It just doesn't make sense.
                    They weren't giving Maidana anything.

Keep in mind Ortiz was supposed to be the next GoldenBoy - they just wanted a slugger he would look good against for this first headline show.

Maidana was just coming off a questionable loss and they made the mistake of putting Ortiz in deep waters with a guy that could ****.

Peterson cannot hurt Ortiz...he isn't even half the puncher that Maidana is...If you can't hurt Ortiz he will beat you...Plus Peterson was wobbled by BRADLEY!!! FEATHER FISTED BRADLEY!!! LOL How about an Ortiz punch? that equals a KO for sure...
