I expect Ortiz to KO Peterson in 5 rounds or less...

Ortiz scoring a KO is not out of question, kid has real power, I believe he's a better puncher than Maidana because of his better technique and accuracy (I believe even more since Corley has stated that Maidana doesn't hit as hard as people think)
his right hook right uppercutt combo is nasty
Peterson is a solid fighter though, we can't take him for grantedComment

Maidana should return the favor
And whether u consider Maidana not OWING him or not, if Maidana never fights him again, it simply means Maidana's scared. When ur scared to fight someone u beat into submission, and the person u beat into submission wants a rematch... It just doesn't make sense.Comment

Shot Corley did not do better with Maidana than Ortiz. Ortiz was winning the fight, got 3 knock downs, despite not fighting the right fight. Also taking into mind the Maidana that fought Corley was a poorly trained Maidana (he was exhausted early in the fight), while the Maidana that fought Ortiz was probably the best Maidana ever.Comment

if he can stay composed and not get wild, he is a force to be reckonedComment

I wouldn't say Vic had to go 12 rounds with Nate. It's more like he chose to be careful and boxed and moved. In his last fight he went for it and looked very fast and strong. Depends on the mental approach that he brings into the ring. With Maidana being on the card I think he's going to go for making a statement. I've got him stopping Peterson late
huge difference
people are seriously sleeping on Lamont and I would not be surprised in the least if he gives Ortiz serious issuesComment
