I expect Ortiz to KO Peterson in 5 rounds or less...

I wouldn't call him feather fisted.

ala: Spinks, Malinaggi, Yuri Foreman, Zuri Lawerance.

He can be explosive and he usually hurts his opponent or knocks them down.

He hits a little harder than Clottey.

Desert storm lacks KO's because hes a horrible finisher.

      Lamont Peterson beat Lanardo Tyner.

The same guy who destroyed Antwone Smith.

That guy can punch at 147.

Maidana needs to man up and give Ortiz a rematch, however he might lose to Khan.
Here is a quote from Marcos Maidana at the post fight press conference.

“I wasn’t surprised by Ortiz’ style. I’ve seen videos of him and I knew that he a warrior but I was ready to after him,” the quiet Maidana stated confidently as his large entourage cheered him on. “This was the toughest fight I have ever been in, against the strongest and toughest fighter I have faced so far in my career. Although I was knocked down, I had to fight for my family back in Argentina. I would be more than happy to give him the rematch since I know how to fight him now.”

Maidana offered Ortiz a rematch. Ortiz ducked Maidana and fought a washed-up Antonio Diaz instead. Then, he fought a guy who had already lost 8 times after Diaz.

Ortiz really needs to rematch Maidana if he wants any credibility back.

The match-making for Ortiz has been awful but that's what Goldenboy is notorious for. Vic is either in too easy or he's in for a surprise. It's either one or the other for him. It's a ***********al growth in the ring when you do that to a fighter. Ortiz isn't going to get the proper preparation from his handlers and never has since he left Top Rank so it's up to him to mentally prepare. If he's ready to work and adjust mid-fight when and if the situation arises he'll be alright. If not he's going to be forced to learn something new again. Peterson is going to show him something new and if Ortiz can handle this test and pass this test than I'd say he's ready for the sport.
