I watched the exclusive pre-fight show, the main event and the post-fight interview. I even watched the post-fight press conference featuring the best fighter in the world: which is Jean Pascal.

Pascal was winning nearly every round. Plus, it's not like he was the one who initiated the headbutt. It was the American sore loser Chad "Sad" Dawson.

It was so funny to watch Dawson make all those excuses after the fight, that I almost had to change the channel to stop myself from laughing. But, of course, I did not, because I might've missed another potential interview with the best fighter in the world: which is Jean Pascal.

It's no excuse, Hopkins is 45 years old. He didn't look all that against Ornelas and Jones, I doubt he'll look all that against Pascal. But Hopkins is at his best when people doubt him, when he's the underdog. He surprises everyone. He did it 3 times. Trinidad, Tarver, Pavlik. But you just can't ignore the fact that he's 45, about to be 46 in January. The man is almost 50 years old.
