I'm actually not interested in Cotto trying to avenge his loss to Margarito anymore and I'm gonna quit criticizing him if he decides not to go in that direction. If he beats him, so what. He just got to him in the aftermath of Pacquiao re-arranging his face. Cotto should fight Martinez because it would make an easy sell. Two Latino fighters going at it and if Cotto loses, he can always use the excuse he was fighting a bigger guy. If he fights Martinez at a catch weight at 155 for the Middleweight title and loses though, I'm gonna laugh my fuckin arse off. Lol.

This is the biggest bull**** post I've read in a while. You're just making excuses in case Margarito loses. Cotto has taken just as much beatings if not more, seems pretty even IMO and I will admit that Margarito is still very tough match for Cotto. So save the excuses.

I route strong for Cotto but the dude is iffy. He's a very good fighter but not an all time great. You never know what you'll get out of him. But I will say this, at least he comes to fight and doesn't back down to a challenge.

Cotto vs Margs is a fight most fans of each fighter would want to see. Margarito's style will always make for a good fight with Cotto because Cotto has trouble with that all out pressure style of fighter who can take a punch. Cotto could probably get a ud in the rematch but dont count Margs out. Cotto vs Chavez is another Cotto Gomez.

Come on man. Margarito took way worse of a beating than Cotto did that has career lingering effects because he was more bold than Cotto when it came to trading with Pac. I'm not saying the fight isn't even, but it's still the idea that we don't know what Margarito has left after that fight. And even though I think Foreman is a bum of the highest order, Cotto still showed some skills in that fight and looked impressive in winning. Has Margarito won a fight yet since getting beat by Pac? Cotto isn't gonna get the full credit of beating Margarito until Margarito comes back and beats a decent B-level guy like Collazo for example. Cotto would be fighting him coming straight off a loss. This is the reality. If he fights Martinez, he is fighting a guy who is unquestionably at the top of his game.

I don't got a problem with Cotto if he decides to fight Margarito after Margarito looks good against a decent opponent. Otherwise, why should Cotto bother?
